About
About Bind on Forever
Bind on Forever is a World of Warcraft: Forever database, guide and tools site. It reads every build of the game's files, checks Blizzard's notes against them, and shows where each number came from.
What's here
- The database: 22,707 items, 894 class abilities and talents, quests, zones, dungeons and Hunter pets, each set against Classic Era. Items, spells, quests, dungeons.
- What changed: every build of WoW Forever compared field by field, and every line of Blizzard's notes checked against the files. Changes, Blizzard's notes, checked.
- Tools: the talent calculator, the world map, the camp builder and the Legacy planner.
- Guides: the WoW Forever leveling guide, 1 to 60, Hardcore dangers by zone, and articles on each build and hotfix.
- The BoF Guide: our in-game leveling guide addon, free from 1 to 30, on CurseForge and Wago. More about it.
How it's different
The site shows its work. A page says which build it was checked against (the newest is 1.60.1.70862, from Nov 7, 2026), whether a number comes from the game files, the server, our own play or someone else, and what it was in Classic. When a tooltip says one thing and the data underneath another, both are on the page. How each source ranks is on our sources.
Who makes it
Bind on Forever is made by Illuminoctis, who writes and checks its articles and makes the BoF Guide, and plays WoW Forever, Hardcore above all. The site is in English, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French and Korean, with the game's own names in each language.
How it's paid for
There are no ads. The site and the BoF Guide's levels 1 to 30 are free; the guide's levels 30 to 60 and its profession guides are a paid pack, and that pays for the site.
