Bind on Forever partner terms
Last updated October 10, 2026.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms cover the Bind on Forever creator and affiliate program. “We” and “us” mean Bind on Forever (bindonforever.com), a sole proprietorship based in Missouri, USA, trading under that name. “You” means the person or business that applies. If you apply for a business, you confirm that you have the authority to agree to these terms for it.
When you apply, you agree to these terms for your application. You join the program, and start earning, only when we approve you by email. We keep a record of the version of these terms you accepted and when.
2. What the program is
You recommend the BoF Guide, our leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever, and earn a commission on the paid packs people buy through your code or link. Your audience gets 10% off.
3. Applying
Apply on bindonforever.com/partners. We look at every application by hand and aim to answer within two business days. We may decline any application, for example a coupon or deal site, a site that copies others’ content, or a channel with nothing to do with the game. You must be at least 18 and of the age of majority where you live.
4. Your code, your link, and which sale is yours
Once approved, you get a code (for example YOURNAME) and a link (bindonforever.com/leveling-guide?ref=YOURNAME).
Either gives your audience 10% off.
- A code decides. A sale is yours when your code is used at checkout, whatever links the buyer followed before.
- Otherwise, the last link. If no valid partner code is used, the sale goes to the partner whose link the buyer most recently followed, as our system recorded it, in the 30 days before buying.
- Every purchase on its own. A buyer’s later purchase is yours only if it qualifies on its own under this section.
- Invalid or expired codes give no discount and decide nothing; the link rule still applies.
- After you leave, your code and link stop working, and sales made after that are not yours, even if the buyer followed your link before.
We remember a link on the buyer’s device, where the buyer allows it. A link can’t be credited when the buyer deletes or blocks that, doesn’t allow it, or buys on another device or browser. A code at checkout avoids all of these, so point your audience to the code. We pay on every sale our records attribute to you under this section.
If you think a sale is missing or credited wrongly, write to us within 60 days of the payout that should have included it. We’ll check our records and answer within 14 days.
5. Commission
What a sale is worth. You earn a share of the price the buyer paid, after any discount, less sales tax or VAT and less any refund. We don’t deduct payment-processing fees. For example: the $30 Both factions pack with your 10% off sells for $27.00; where no tax applies, 45% of that is $12.15.
Your rank. Your share grows with your qualifying sales: the total, over the life of your account, of what your sales were worth (as above), each counted once its 30-day refund window has closed.
| Rank | Your share | From qualifying sales of |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 45% | your first sale |
| 2 | 50% | $1,250 |
| 3 | 55% | $2,500 |
| 4 | 60% | $5,000 |
| 5 | 65% | $10,000 |
Your rank goes up on the day your qualifying sales pass a threshold. A sale earns at the rank you held on the day it was made, so the sale that takes you past a threshold earns at your old share, and sales from then on at the new one.
A rank, once reached, stays, even if a later chargeback takes your total back under it. The one exception: if you reached it through sales that broke section 11 or weren’t real, we correct your rank and tell you why.
Founding partners. If we receive your application by 11:59 p.m. US Central Time on November 3, 2026, and approve it, you earn the greater of your rank’s share or 50% on eligible sales made through December 31, 2026. This minimum doesn’t change your rank. From January 1, 2027, your share is your rank’s. These dates stand even if the game’s launch moves.
6. Refunds and chargebacks
Buyers can get a refund within 30 days, so a sale becomes payable only once that window has closed.
- A full refund reverses the whole commission on that sale.
- A partial refund reduces it in proportion.
- A disputed payment (a chargeback): we hold the commission on that sale until the dispute ends, and restore it if the dispute ends in our favor.
If a commission we already paid is later reversed, we take it off your next payout and show it on your statement. If there is no next payout, we may ask you to repay that commission, with an itemized explanation. We never pass on payment-processor or dispute fees.
7. Payouts
- When. We pay monthly on the 15th, or the next US business day when the 15th isn’t one. Each payout covers the commissions on sales whose refund window closed by the end of the previous month.
- How. In US dollars, by PayPal, to the account you give us. We pay PayPal’s sending fee.
- Minimum. If you’re owed less than $20, it carries over to the next month. Your final payout has no minimum.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails or is returned, we tell you, and pay the full amount on the next payout date after you’ve fixed your details.
- Statements. You can ask for a statement of your sales at any time. It lists dates and amounts, never who bought.
We never cancel what you’re owed because you’ve been inactive or have closed an account. If we can’t pay you after reasonable attempts, we handle the balance as unclaimed-property law requires.
8. Creator giveaway codes
A creator may also get one code for 30 free copies of the Both factions pack, for their audience, and a copy for themselves. Copies must be redeemed by 11:59 p.m. US Central Time on December 31, 2026; a redeemed copy is the viewer’s to keep, like a bought one. Free copies earn no commission. Giveaway codes may not be sold, traded or used outside the creator’s own audience. If you give the copies away as prizes, you are responsible for following the platform’s rules and any law on giveaways where you run them.
9. Telling your audience
You must tell your audience that you earn from your code or link, clearly and every time you recommend the guide:
- In a video, say it in the video, and put it in the description next to the link.
- In a stream, say it, and keep it where people who join later can see it, such as the title, an overlay or a pinned message.
- In a post, put it in the post itself, not only in your profile.
Use plain words, for example: “I earn a commission if you buy through this link or use my code.” “Affiliate link” alone isn’t enough. If you got the guide free, say that too. Give your honest opinion, and make no claims we can’t back up, such as a guaranteed leveling time.
We’ll give you a short guide to disclosure. We may look at your promotions and ask you to fix a disclosure; please do it promptly.
10. Taxes
You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Before your first payout we ask for the tax form that applies to you (for example IRS Form W-9 or W-8BEN), through a secure method we’ll tell you about. Until we have it, we hold your payouts; they aren’t forfeited. We withhold and report tax where the law requires.
11. What isn’t allowed
- Your own purchases: buying through your own code or link, or arranging for others to buy so that you earn on what is really your own purchase. Friends and family buying for themselves is fine.
- Spam: bulk messages, or direct messages, emails or replies promoting your code to people who didn’t ask for them. Ordinary public posts on your own channels are fine.
- Ads on our names: bidding on “Bind on Forever”, “BoF Guide”, “bindonforever” or close misspellings as search or social ad keywords, or using them in paid ad text or ad links. Paying to promote your own videos or posts is fine.
- Coupon sites: you, or anyone acting for you, posting your code on coupon, deal or cashback sites. We won’t hold it against you when people you don’t know copy a public code, though we may change your code if it spreads.
- Blizzard: saying or suggesting that the guide or the site is made, endorsed or approved by Blizzard Entertainment.
- False claims: false or misleading claims about the guide, its price or what it does.
- Pretending to be us, or using a name, site or account that could be taken for ours.
- Fake activity: fake accounts, bots, or anything that makes clicks or sales that aren’t real.
Sales that come from any of these earn nothing, and we may end your participation (section 13).
12. Our name and art
While you’re a partner, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, which we can withdraw, to use the materials we provide or approve for partners (our name, our logos, the guide’s art, and screenshots of the guide and the site) only to promote the guide. You may resize and crop them. Don’t otherwise change them, or use them in a way that suggests something we didn’t say. This license covers only materials we own or may license; it doesn’t cover Blizzard’s game assets or anyone else’s. Your own gameplay footage follows Blizzard’s rules for it.
If we ask you to change or take down something that uses our materials, please do so within seven days, or within 48 hours if it is deceptive, unlawful or harmful. When you leave, the license ends: don’t make anything new with our materials. What you published while a partner can stay up, but if we ask, remove our logos and art from it within 14 days.
13. Pausing and ending
You can leave at any time by writing to us. We can end your participation at any time; we tell you why by email, and you can reply to dispute it. While we look into a possible breach, we may pause your code and hold the commissions in question for up to 30 days, and we tell you we’re doing so.
Ending your participation, by you or by us, for any reason, doesn’t cancel the commissions on eligible sales made before it ends. We may withhold or reverse amounts that come from refunds, chargebacks or conduct that breaks section 11. Everything else stays payable on the normal schedule, once the sales are past their refund window.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We’ll email you at least 14 days before a change takes effect. A change never lowers the commission on sales made before it takes effect, never changes how those sales are attributed or whether they qualify, and never takes away a rank you’ve reached. If you don’t agree with a change, you can leave before it takes effect, and we pay what you’ve earned.
15. How we work together
You are an independent partner, not our employee, agent or representative. Nothing here makes us partners in a business.
16. Responsibility
- Our limit. Apart from commissions you’ve earned under these terms, which we always owe in full, we are not liable to you for more than the greater of $100 or the commissions we paid you in the 12 months before a claim.
- Your limit. The same limit applies to what you owe us, apart from commissions you must repay under section 6 and section 13.
- Third-party claims. You cover our reasonable costs from claims by others caused by your unlawful advertising, your infringement of someone’s rights, or your intentional misconduct. You’re not responsible for claims about our product or about materials we gave you; we cover your reasonable costs from claims that materials we gave you infringe someone’s rights.
- Exceptions. These limits don’t apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or anything the law doesn’t allow to be limited.
17. Your information
We use your information as our Privacy Policy describes: what you send in your application, and what we need to pay you and keep the program’s records. We honor the deletion rights the law gives you, but keep what we reasonably need for tax, accounting, legal compliance, fraud prevention and resolving disputes.
18. General
- Notices go by email: to hello@bindonforever.com for us, and to the address you applied with for you (or a newer one you give us).
- The whole agreement. These terms are the whole agreement about the program. If a program page, guide or email says something different, these terms win unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- If a part doesn’t hold, the rest of these terms still applies.
- Transfers. You can’t transfer your place in the program without our written consent. We can transfer these terms to whoever takes over Bind on Forever, and we’ll tell you.
- What lasts. Sections 6, 7, 10, 13, 16, 17, 18 and 19 continue after you leave, as far as anything under them is still owed or open.
19. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Missouri.
