How to do it

The quest log Find and slay the murloc known as Murkdeep. The creature is thought to be defending the murloc huts south of Auberdine along the water. Report the death of Murkdeep to Sentinel Glynda Nal'Shea in Auberdine.

  1. Pick it up

    You pick it up at Auberdine (37.2, 44.2).

    The WANTED poster hangs outside the inn.

    Targets: Murkdeep

    Murkdeep may already be in the shallows after someone's failed try. Check before you walk in.

    Standing by the central bonfire starts it. Coastrunners (12-13) come first, then Warriors (15-16), then Murkdeep.

    The last wave is Murkdeep (19) and a Greymist Hunter at once. Bring a partner if you can.

    Step away from the bonfire to rest between waves. The next one won't come at you there.

    Clear the murlocs around the camp first, staying well away from the bonfire.

    Murkdeep throws a net that holds you in place. Don't plan on running once he's on you.
