What the developers said

Blizzard's developers on its podcast, panels and streams, newest first. Each line sums up what they said at that moment, and the badge says how it holds up against the game files.

Partly Azshara received a big glow-up with many new quests.
The files New Azshara subzones Legashi Stronghold (16234, lvl 52) and Thalassian Vanguard Camp (16577, lvl 49), plus the Blackmaw Hold dungeon. The quest count is not in client data.

Matches the files New dungeon: a Furbolg city behind a gate in Azshara, struggling with corruption; levels 55-60. Its tunnels ('Black Mah hold' in captions, possibly Blackmaw Hold) lead toward the Barrow Deeps.
The files Blackmaw Hold: AreaTable 1216 (parent Azshara 16), listed as a dungeon in 'Master Spelunker' (criteria 230796, final-boss creature 247234); official 55-60. Its instance is map 2974 (ContentTuning 4550 = 55, lockout 46; holds Azshara's 'Magus Rimtori's Journal' object). The Barrow Deeps WMO (20443) contains a 'Blackmaw Den' sub-area (AreaTable 17183), so the tunnels do connect to the raid. Note: the Legacy currency text (TraitCurrencySource 37133) still calls it 'Timbermaw Hold'.
