BoF Guide 0.9.84: Ctrl-click any step to see it on the world map
BoF Guide 0.9.84, the free WoW Forever in-game leveling guide: Ctrl-click a step or the arrow and the world map opens on its zone with the pin set. And 0.9.83: leave an email with a report and hear when it's fixed.

Version 0.9.84 of the BoF Guide, Bind on Forever’s free WoW Forever in-game leveling guide, is out on CurseForge and Wago, and as a direct download below. It brings one thing a creator asked for: your step on the world map in one click.
No restart needed. A reload picks it up.
Unzip it into the Interface\AddOns folder of your WoW Forever game (on the beta:World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns), so the guide sits at AddOns\BoFGuide. Restart the game, then type /bofg. When a new version comes out, download it again and replace the folder; your settings stay. More on installing addons.
Ctrl-click a step to see it on the world map
The arrow tells you which way to walk. Sometimes you want the whole picture instead: where the camp sits in the zone, which road gets you there, whether a flight is quicker. Now you can Ctrl-click any step in the guide’s window, or Ctrl-click the arrow, and the world map opens on the zone the step is in, with the game’s own pin already on the spot.
The same command is in the right-click menu of every step and of the arrow, as “Show on the world map”, for anyone who’d rather not hold a key.
In a fight the guide leaves the map alone and tells you so. A map dropping over your screen mid-pull is the last thing a Hardcore character needs.
Hear back when your report is fixed (0.9.83)
The guide’s feedback window makes a link for your report. Since 0.9.83 it also tells you that you can leave your email address on the feedback page, and we’ll write to you when your report is fixed. In all six languages.
Found something wrong?
Report it from the guide’s seal menu or on the feedback page. The last fixes, in 0.9.82, came straight from players’ reports: Thunder Bluff’s Pools of Vision, Zerril Softbreeze’s real spot and quests that came back after login. Questions
How do I see a quest step on the map in WoW Forever?
With the BoF Guide 0.9.84 or later, Ctrl-click the step in the guide's window, or Ctrl-click its arrow. The world map opens on the zone the step is in, with the game's pin already on the spot. Right-clicking a step or the arrow shows the same thing as "Show on the world map".
Why doesn't the map open when I Ctrl-click in a fight?
The guide leaves the map alone while you're in combat, so it never covers your screen mid-pull. It tells you so; try again once the fight is over.
Do I need to restart WoW after updating the BoF Guide to 0.9.84?
No. A /reload or your next login picks it up.
