    Keep Small Eggs and Stringy Meat. Restocking the Larders wants 3 eggs, and Cooking uses both.

    Cirrusfly Soldiers swarm around the queen. Clear the nearest ones before you pull her.

If the forest is as thick with these insects as it sounds, simply killing the workers won't be enough. Go deeper into the forest and find the queen. She'll be close to the hive and surrounded by bigger and more aggressive soldiers, so be careful. Put her down and return here when it's done. That'll be one less problem to think about around here.
