This is WoW Forever quest help for the quests players searched most in launch week, taken from what people typed into Google to find our quest pages between Nov 2 and Nov 6. Most of them are new in Forever, in the zones from 1 to 12. Each entry says where to go, what drops the item and what tends to go wrong. Spots are map coordinates, as the game’s map shows them.
Dun Morogh quests
Frosthowl
Frosthowl, level 9, from Gretta Ganter in Brewnall Village (31.5, 44.6). She wants the Sack of Fish back from Frosthowl, a level 9 wendigo at the west end of the Grizzled Den (39.3, 48.8).
The den is full of wendigos up to level 8, Wendigo Shamans among them, so go in by the south mouth and pull one at a time. Old Icebeard, a level 11 elite, lives in the next cave over, on the den’s west side. Leave Icebeard alone unless you’re with a group.
Never Saddle on Quality
Never Saddle on Quality, level 10, from Rudra Amberstill at Amberstill Ranch (63.1, 49.9). Six Pristine Leopard Pelts, and only Elder Snow Leopards (level 9 to 10) drop them. Snow Leopards and Juveniles don’t. The elders roam the slopes east of the ranch, around 72.7, 54.6 to 76.4, 57.5.
Vagash, a level 11 elite yeti, stands on the hill north of the ranch for the quest Protecting the Herd. Pull Vagash downhill to the ranch’s defenders instead of fighting on the hill.
Treacherous Cold
Treacherous Cold, level 8, from Father Gavin at the Misty Pine Refuge (57.7, 44.9). Three rifles of fallen mountaineers lie in the snow, one each:

Snowbound (Loch Modan)
Snowbound, level 10, from Grenhild Darktalon in Thelsamar (36.5, 48.3). Fill the Jar of Snow at the tunnel entrance of South Gate Pass, then take it to Norric Lochthane at the house on the loch’s northwest coast (41.8, 19.1). The jar lasts 10 minutes, so go straight there.

Downstream
Downstream, level 10, from Ormin Pelford at Eastvale Logging Camp (76.5, 71.9). The three tools washed down the river to the south:

Croaky, a level 11 elite murloc, swims near the Toolbox, south of Guard Thomas’s bridge. Check where Croaky is before you loot it. Croaky’s Head drops from the kill and starts a quest of its own, so a group can take the fight for the extra quest.
Elmpaw’s Head
Elmpaw’s Head starts from an item. Elmpaw, a level 12 elite, roams north of Stone Cairn Lake (71.1, 41.4). The head drops from the kill and starts the quest. Hand it in to Helene Peltskinner in the house northeast of Goldshire (46.2, 62.2). Alone at level 10, skip the fight.

A Missing Hand
A Missing Hand, level 11, from Orgnil Soulscar in Razor Hill (52.2, 43.1). Find Heglan Shadeeye north of Tiragarde Keep (58.6, 45.6). Talking to her finishes it and gives the next quest, Threat from Below.
A Pain in the Neck (Enchanting)
A Pain in the Neck, level 8, from Pa’zula in the big hut in Sen’jin Village (56.7, 73.7). She offers it only after you learn Enchanting from her. Hexed Trolls and Voodoo Trolls on the Echo Isles drop Hexed Pendants; disenchant three to get three Luminous Residue.

Ceasing Operations
Ceasing Operations, level 12, the end of a short chain from Morin Cloudstalker, who walks the road east of Bloodhoof Village (54.8, 64.3). The Clearcutter Key drops from the Venture Co. Clearclutter, a level 12 elite shredder working the camp past the Venture Co. Mine (57.9, 44.0). Bring two others or skip it. If Morin isn’t at the spot, follow the road east until you meet the patrol.

Easing Suffering
Easing Suffering, level 10, from Byancie in Dolanaar (55.3, 56.8). Carry the Lashwater Salve to Sentinel Eralya Leafshadow, on the road to the Oracle Tree (37.5, 36.8). It’s a delivery, so the only danger is what’s on the road.

Strength and Mercy (Druid)
Strength and Mercy, the Skyborne Druid’s level 10 class quest, from Urs’endris (69.8, 61.7). Kill Ur’endra, level 10, in her cave to the west, around 53.5, 65.0. Urs’endris waits below the lower peak, and Walk on Air glides you down, so only step off with it ready.
