Zygor for WoW Forever: launch in November, inside Elite, maybe not all of 1 to 60
Zygor has no Forever guides in the beta. They arrive through the Zygor client in November, included in its $15 a month Elite plan, possibly as a partial 1 to 60. What's planned, what it costs over a leveling run, and the free options.

Zygor isn’t in the Forever beta and won’t be: its Sep 15 post says “there are no plans to have guides ready for the beta”. Its Forever guides come through the Zygor client in November, ahead of the game’s Nov 4 launch, and its Forever page warns they may cover only part of 1 to 60 at first. On Oct 9 Zygor wrote that having leveling guides ready for launch is its first goal.
What it costs
Forever comes with Zygor Elite “at no additional charge”, so the price is the Elite subscription: $15 billed monthly, or $40 billed every three months. Zygor’s free Basic account includes a sample of its guides; Zygor doesn’t say whether that sample covers Forever.
A subscription costs more the longer you level. Against the one-time guides:
| Time leveling 1 to 60 | Zygor Elite | RestedXP, both factions | ForeverWisp, both factions | BoF Guide, both factions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $15 | $45 once | $33.99 once until Nov 1, then $39.99 | $30 once |
| 3 months | $40 | $45 | same | $30 |
| 6 months | $80 | $45 | same | $30 |
Zygor’s Elite also carries its guides for every other version of WoW, which matters if you play more than Forever. We make the BoF Guide; weigh that.
What Zygor plans for Forever
From its Forever page:
- 1 to 60 leveling built from its Classic guides, with the new zones: Mount Hyjal, Riverglades, Shen’dralas, Dalaran and Zephras Isle.
- A 1 to 12 Skyborne starting guide on Zephras Isle.
- The new race and class pairings, such as Forsaken Paladins.
- Guides for the nine new dungeons, and for the raids as they open.
- Profession guide updates, travel routes in its Guide Viewer and Talent Advisor picks.
- Legacy Points and Campfires, which it says it’s still looking into.
Zygor’s usual features (a 3D waypoint arrow, and Dynamic Detection that accepts and turns in quests) come with it. Hardcore help for Forever isn’t mentioned.
Free options if you’d rather not subscribe
- Guidelime with the TUGs guide: free, every starting zone and 12 to 30 written in the beta.
- ForeverWisp: its addon and routes to 20 are free.
- RestedXP: its free addon carries Forever routes to about 20 for the Alliance and 22 for the Horde.
- Ding!: free to 60, though its maker hasn’t played 30 to 60 yet.
- The BoF Guide: free to 30 and in public beta now, for every start on both factions.
- Questie: free quest pins on your map, no route. Does Questie work in WoW Forever?
Every one of these, on the same questions, is on WoW Forever leveling addons, compared.
