WoW Forever leveling addons, compared
Six in-game leveling guides and quest addons lead WoW Forever leveling so far. Questie marks quests on your map for free; RestedXP, ForeverWisp, Zygor, Guidelime and our own BoF Guide play a route step by step. RestedXP and ForeverWisp have Forever routes in the beta now and sell the rest one-time, Zygor arrives with its subscription at launch, Guidelime's free TUGs guide and the BoF Guide's public beta run to 30, and the BoF Guide sells 30 to 60.
We make the BoF Guide. Everything below about the others comes from their own pages, linked under each one, and where a maker doesn't say something we say so rather than guess. If we've got something wrong, write to hello@bindonforever.com and we'll fix it.
The best in-game leveling guide for what you want
- Quests on your map, no route. Questie, free.
- A free route to play in the beta today. The BoF Guide or Guidelime with the TUGs guide to 30, ForeverWisp to 20, or RestedXP's free routes to about 20 or 22. Ding! is free to 60, though its maker says 30 to 60 hasn't been played yet.
- All of 1 to 60, paid once. RestedXP at $45 for both factions, ForeverWisp at $33.99 until Nov 1, or the BoF Guide at $30.
- A subscription you already have. Zygor, included in Elite from launch.
- Hardcore. The BoF Guide warns before elites, group quests and pulls above your level on its free routes; RestedXP's Forever routes change some steps for Hardcore. The others don't say.

- Yes. Its Oct 9 update says the 1 to 35 guides are finished and being refined in the beta.

- 35 to 60 after launch for both its Speedrun and Dungeon guides, with its Classic Era routes to use until then. A talent builder and a discovery mode for the new quests are planned.

Smaller Forever addons
Newer addons on CurseForge with Forever support. We list what each says about itself and haven't tested them in game.
- Azeroth Pilot Reloaded Free, with donations. Forever starting-zone and leveling routes, most of them generated by its route converter, with an arrow, automation and a party panel.
- Forever Leveling Guide A planner rather than a route: talents by level, profession pairs, gear for your spec and the dungeons for your level.
- Ding! Free and open source, new on Oct 12. A 1 to 60 route for every start, Skyborne included, with an arrow, travel by flights, boats and hearth, and automatic accept, turn-in, selling and repairs. Its maker says 30 to 60 has only been checked with offline tools, since the beta stops at 30.
- 4Ever Leveling Free. Says it covers 1 to 60 step by step with an arrow, though the beta stops at 30. It adds a dungeon atlas and gear suggestions it calls a work in progress, and its auto accept and turn-in start switched off.
- WoW Forever Tracker Free. A companion website and addon: it syncs your character and plans a quest route to a level you choose, which it can export as steps in game, plus profession and gear plans.
- ForeverRoute Free and in beta. Leveling routes and waypoints; its level coverage isn't stated.
- ForeverQuest A quest helper in Questie's style, built on live client data and Classic quest records it marks unverified for Forever.
- Dungeon Quests Forever Step-by-step guides for dungeon quests and their pre-quests, from Questie's data.

Are paid guides allowed?
Blizzard's add-on policy says add-ons must be distributed free of charge, and bans paid premium versions and charging for services tied to an add-on. It doesn't mention guides. RestedXP, ForeverWisp, Zygor and the BoF Guide all keep the addon itself free and sell the guide content separately, as an import string, a download or a subscription.
Blizzard hasn't ruled on that for Forever. Players have asked on the forums, in "Why is RestedXP allowed?" and in an EU thread on paid add-ons, and we found no staff reply in either when we checked on Oct 12, 2026.

- It depends on what you want. For free quest help on your map, Questie. For a free route you can play in the beta today, the BoF Guide or Guidelime with the TUGs guide to 30, ForeverWisp to 20, or RestedXP's free routes to about 20 or 22. For a full 1 to 60 route, RestedXP and ForeverWisp sell theirs one-time, Zygor's comes with its subscription at launch, and the BoF Guide is free to 30 now with 30 to 60 paid. - Is there a free in-game leveling guide for WoW Forever?
- Yes, several. Guidelime with the TUGs guide is free to 30, ForeverWisp's routes are free to 20 and RestedXP's free addon carries Forever routes to about 20 or 22. Ding! says it's free to 60, though its maker hasn't played 30 to 60 yet. The BoF Guide is free to 30 and in public beta now, and Questie is free but marks quests rather than playing a route.
- What is the best leveling addon for Hardcore in WoW Forever?
- One that warns you before a dangerous pull. The BoF Guide shows elites, group quests and creatures well above your level on the step itself, with written warnings for the pulls data can't see, and its full Hardcore mode comes before Blizzard's Hardcore realms open this winter. RestedXP's Forever routes change some steps between Hardcore and Softcore. The others don't describe any Hardcore help. We make the BoF Guide, so weigh that.
- Is RestedXP free in WoW Forever?
