Baseline Abilities
- Matches the files
Fear Ward: This ability is now available to all Priests at level 20, regardless of race.
The files In 70245 Fear Ward (6346) is open to every race (skill line race mask -1; Classic Era: 4, Dwarf only) and is learned at level 20.
- Matches the files
Devouring Plague: This ability is now available to all Priests at level 20, regardless of race.
The files Rank 1 (2944) is learned at level 20 and every race can learn it (race mask -1; Classic Era: 16, Undead only).
- Matches the files
Priest Racial Abilities: Each race of Priest has two spells unique to their Race. They have been fully re-evaluated, and new ones have been added for Gnome Priests:
The files Each priest race has exactly two race-locked spells in 70245: Human Feedback and Divine Grace, Dwarf Desperate Prayer and Chastise, Night Elf Starshards and Elune's Grace, Troll Hex of Weakness and Shadowguard, Undead Touch of Weakness and Dark Sacrifice, Gnome Confounding Flash and Contingency Plan (skill line race masks). Classic Era had no Gnome priest spells.
- No claim to check
Gnome:
The files Section label for the Gnome racials below.
- Matches the files
Confounding Flash: Learned at level 10. Confuses up to 5 nearby enemies for 3 seconds. Effect broken by taking damage. 0.5 second cast time. 2-minute cooldown.
The files The tooltip confuses up to 5 enemies within 8 yds for 3 sec and breaks on damage. Gnomes learn it at level 10, with a 0.5 sec cast and a 2 min cooldown (spell 1277455).
- Partly
Contingency Plan: Learned at level 20. Places a ward on a friendly target for 30 seconds. If that target’s health drops below 35%, the target is instantly protected by a damage absorb shield and gains a heal-over-time effect. These two effects can be stacked with Renew and Power Word: Shield. 5-minute cooldown. Instant cast.
The files Level 20, the 30 sec ward, the 35% health trigger, the absorb plus a 15 sec heal over time, and the instant cast all match the tooltip (1277462). The cooldown is 10 min, not 5 (600000 ms on every rank), and stacking with Renew and Power Word: Shield isn't in any field we can read.
- No claim to check
Dwarf:
The files Section label for the Dwarf racials below.
- Partly
Desperate Prayer: Unchanged.
The files Level 10 and the 10 min cooldown match Classic, but the heal changed: rank 7 base goes from 1324-1562 to 1269-1497 and rank 1's spell power coefficient from 0.268 to 0.429. Humans also lose it (race mask 5 in Classic Era, 4 in 70245).
- Matches the files
Chastise: Learned at level 20. Damages and immobilizes a target for 2 seconds. Only useable on Humanoids. Instant cast, 2-minute cooldown.
The files Dwarves learn rank 1 (1277331) at level 20. It deals Holy damage and immobilizes for up to 2 sec, Humanoids only (tooltip), instant with a 2 min cooldown.
- No claim to check
Human:
The files Section label for the Human racials below.
- Partly
Divine Grace: Learned at level 10. Instantly heals a friendly target below 50% health and removes Weakened Soul from that target. Cannot be cast on self. 5-minute cooldown.
The files Learned at level 10 (1277370); it heals a target below 50% health, removes Weakened Soul and can't target yourself (tooltip). The cooldown is 10 min, not 5: it sits in Desperate Prayer's cooldown category (671, 600000 ms).
- Partly
Feedback: Unchanged.
The files The effect, 15 sec duration and 3 min cooldown match Classic, but the mana cost dropped: rank 1 from 140 to 55, rank 5 from 580 to 230 (spells 13896, 19275).
- No claim to check
Night Elf:
The files Section label for the Night Elf racials below.
- Matches the files
Starshards: Still learned at level 10. Damage increased substantially but now has a 30 second cooldown.
The files Rank 1 (10797) is learned at level 10. Damage rose (rank 7: 936 to 1800 over 6 sec) and it gained a 30 sec cooldown (Classic: none).
- Matches the files
Elune’s Grace: Still learned at level 20. Now reduces the chance for melee and ranged attacks to hit the Priest by 50% for 15 seconds or until 3 attacks have missed. 5-minute cooldown.
The files Learned at level 20 (2651). The tooltip cuts melee and ranged hit chance against you by 50% for 15 sec or until you're missed 3 times, on a 5 min cooldown.
- No claim to check
Troll:
The files Section label for the Troll racials below.
- Doesn't match
Hex of Weakness: Unchanged.
The files Classic lowers the target's damage by 20 at rank 6, while 70245 lowers melee attack power by 204 (aura 13 replaced by aura 99, spell 19285). The 20% healing cut and 2 min duration are the same.
- Partly
Shadowguard: Unchanged.
The files Charges, the 10 min duration and level 20 match Classic, but each hit deals less: rank 1 drops from 20 to 13 Shadow damage and rank 6 from 116 to 96 (spells 28377, 28382).
- No claim to check
Undead
The files Section label for the Undead racials below.
- Doesn't match
Touch of Weakness: Unchanged.
The files The debuff now lowers the attacker's melee attack power (rank 1: 43, rank 6: 204) instead of their damage (2 and 20), and rank 6 damage drops from 64 to 56 (spells 2943, 19254).
- Matches the files
Dark Sacrifice: Learned at level 20. Cannibalize your own health to gain Mana over time. Mana gain increased by Spirit.
The files Undead learn rank 1 (1277324) at level 20. The tooltip spends 440 Health over 15 sec to gain 440 Mana plus 100% of Spirit.
- Partly
Fade: Threat reduction effect doubled.
The files The threat reduction went up five times, not two: rank 6 from 820 to 4100 and rank 1 from 55 to 275 (aura 103, spells 10942 and 586). Feint shows the same 5x jump, so the client may store threat on a new scale.
- Partly
Prayer of Healing: Instead of healing the Priest’s own party, this spell now heals all the members of the target’s party and their pets.
The files The tooltip now heals the target and their party within 40 yards of the target, and range went from self to 40 yd (spell 25316). Pets aren't mentioned in the tooltip or any field we can read.
- Matches the files
Shadow Word: Death: Added as a baseline ability to all Priests at level 32. Deals instant Shadow damage to the target but if the target is not killed by this spell, the Priest takes 10% of their max health in damage. 15 second cooldown.
The files Rank 1 (1309595) is a trained Shadow spell at level 32 with a 15 sec cooldown. If the target survives, you take 10% of your maximum health (tooltip, effect value 10).
- Matches the files
Divine Spirit: Now baseline to all Priests, learned at level 30.
The files Rank 1 (14752) is in the Discipline skill line at level 30 and is no longer a talent (Classic: Discipline row 5).
- Matches the files
Renew: Renew can now be active from multiple Priests on the same target.
The files The trainable Renew ranks gained the per-caster stacking flag (Attributes_3 0x80): 0 in Classic Era, 128 in 70245 on spells 139 and 25315.
Discipline
- Matches the files
Power in Light: (New row 1 talent.) Increased Smite and Penance damage done to targets afflicted with your Holy Fire.
The files New Discipline row 1 talent (talent position). Its tooltip adds 2/4/6/8/10% Smite and Penance damage against targets with your Holy Fire.
- Matches the files
Wand Specialization: Now only requires two talent points for the same benefit.
The files Classic needs 5 ranks for 25% wand damage; 70245 gives 13/25% over 2 ranks (spell 14524).
- Matches the files
Twin Disciplines: (New row 1 talent.) Increases damage and healing done by instant cast spells.
The files New Discipline row 1 talent (talent position) that adds 1-5% damage and healing to instant spells (tooltip).
- Matches the files
Silent Resolve: Now also reduces the duration of Stun, Fear, and Silence effects on you.
The files Three new effects cut Stun, Fear and Silence duration by 5/10/15% (mechanics 12, 5 and 9; tooltip). Classic only lowered threat.
- Matches the files
Holy Precision: Increases chance to hit with Holy spells by up to 18%. This talent is intended to remove the need for hit chance on healing Priests, who are not expected to wear gear that increased hit chance.
The files The tooltip gives +6/12/18% chance to hit with Holy spells over 3 ranks (Discipline row 2).
- Matches the files
Improved Power Word: Shield: Slightly more increase per talent point.
The files Classic gives 5/10/15% over 3 ranks; 70245 gives 7/14/20% (spell 14748).
- Matches the files
Mental Agility: Moved from row 4 up to row 3. Now costs only 3 talent points for the same effect and also benefits Smite and Holy Fire.
The files Classic Discipline row 4 with 5 ranks; 70245 row 3 with 3 ranks and the same 10% cap, and the tooltip adds Smite and Holy Fire (spell 14520).
- Matches the files
Meditation: Mana benefit from spirit increased substantially.
The files Mana regen kept while casting goes from 5/10/15% in Classic to 17/33/50% in 70245 (spell 14521).
- Matches the files
Improved Inner Fire: Benefit to armor increased, and now also increases charges.
The files The armor bonus rises from 10/20/30% to 15/30/45%, and a new effect adds 4/8/12 charges (spell 14747).
- Partly
Mental Strength: Moved from row 4 up to row 4. Now increases Intellect by a larger percentage instead of Mana by a percentage.
The files The Intellect part matches, since Classic gave +2-10% max mana and 70245 gives +3-15% Intellect (aura 132 to 137, spell 18551). The row text is off; it moved from Classic row 5 to row 4.
- Matches the files
Soul Warding: This new 16-point gold medal talent reduces the cooldown on Power Word: Shield and its Mana cost. Requires Improved Power Word: Shield.
The files Discipline row 4 (15 points spent, so the 16th point), behind Improved Power Word: Shield (talent edge). The tooltip takes 4 sec off that spell's cooldown and 15% off its mana cost.
- Matches the files
Improved Mana Burn: Reduction to cast time of Mana Burn increased.
The files Classic took 0.25/0.5 sec off Mana Burn's cast; 70245 takes 0.5/1 sec (spell 14750).
- Matches the files
Penance: (New 21-point gold medal talent.) Channeled over 2 seconds with 12 second cooldown. Can target enemies to deal damage every second, or allies to heal damage every second.
The files Discipline row 5 (20 points spent) with a 12 sec cooldown. The tooltip damages an enemy or heals an ally instantly and every 1 sec for 2 sec.
- Matches the files
Renewed Hope: (New talent.) Requires Soul Warding. Increases critical strike chance of Flash Heal, Binding Heal, Lesser Heal, Heal, Greater Heal, and Penance when casting on targets with Weakened Soul. Each of those spells also reduces the duration of Weakened Soul on the target each time the target is healed.
The files Row 5, behind Soul Warding (talent edge). The tooltip gives +2-10% crit to Flash Heal, Binding Heal, Lesser Heal, Heal, Greater Heal and Penance on Weakened Soul targets, and each heal cuts 1-5 sec off Weakened Soul.
- Partly
Divine Aegis: Critical heals create an absorb shield for 12 seconds on your target based on a percentage of the amount healed. This effect does not stack.
The files The tooltip has critical heals shield the target for 5/10/15% of the heal for 12 sec (Discipline row 6). The no-stacking rule isn't in any field we can read.
Holy
- Matches the files
Twilight Focus: Formerly Healing Focus. Now grants pushback protection on all spellcasts, but costs 3 talent points instead of 2.
The files Classic's Healing Focus had 2 ranks at 35/70%, healing spells only. 70245's Twilight Focus has 3 ranks at 23/47/70%, any spell (spell 14913).
- Matches the files
Blessed Recovery: Now also triggers from any attack that deals more than 30% of your maximum health in a single hit.
The files The tooltip adds hits of more than 30% of maximum Health as a trigger (new effect, value 30, spell 27811).
- Matches the files
Inspiration: Now triggers from all non-periodic critical heals.
The files Classic named Flash Heal, Heal, Greater Heal and Prayer of Healing; the 70245 tooltip says any non-periodic critical heal (spell 14892).
- Matches the files
Improved Healing: Now also reduces Mana cost of Penance and Prayer of Mending.
The files The tooltip now lists Penance and Prayer of Mending next to Lesser Heal, Heal and Greater Heal, and the effect's spell list grew to match (spell 14912).
- Matches the files
Searing Light: (Redesigned.) Now increases all Holy damage done but by a lesser percentage. In addition, it now grants a chance for Holy Fire damage to make your next Holy Nova cost no Mana.
The files Classic gave +5/10% to Smite and Holy Fire. 70245 gives +2/5% to all Holy damage plus a 5/10% chance per Holy Fire tick to make the next Holy Nova free (spell 14909, trigger 1284536).
- Matches the files
Binding Heal: (New 16-point gold medal talent.) New spell with no cooldown. Heals the Priest and their current target. No cooldown, 1.5 second cast. Tuned to be as good as Flash Heal even if the Priest needs no healing.
The files Holy row 4 talent (15 points spent), 1.5 sec cast, no cooldown, heals you and the target. Rank 6 heals 772-911 each for 380 mana, the same numbers as Flash Heal rank 7 (spells 1240774, 10917).
- Matches the files
Litany of Light: Each time you cast a healing spell, you are refunded part of its Mana cost if the name of the spell is different than the previous healing spell you cast.
The files A heal refunds 5/10% of its base mana cost if your previous heal was a different spell (tooltip, Holy row 5).
- Matches the files
Spiritual Guidance: Bonus to spell damage reduced to approximately one third as much as the bonus to spell healing.
The files Classic gave 25% of Spirit to both damage and healing. 70245 gives 25% to healing and 8% to damage, about a third (effect values 25 and 8, spell 14901).
- Matches the files
Spiritual Healing: Now only needs 3 talent points for the same benefit.
The files Classic gave 2% per rank over 5 ranks (10%); 70245 gives 3/7/10% over 3 ranks (spell 14898).
- Matches the files
Prayer of Mending: (New 31-point gold medal talent.) Spirit of Redemption required. 10 second cooldown. Places a spell with 30 second duration on the target that heals the target the next time they take damage or receive non-periodic healing, consuming a charge. Then the spell jumps to another nearby party or raid member within 20 yards. It continues jumping until it heals a total of 5 times. Each target may only have one Prayer of Mending active.
The files Holy row 7 (30 points spent), behind Spirit of Redemption (talent edge), 10 sec cooldown. The tooltip lasts 30 sec, heals on the next damage or non-periodic heal, jumps within 20 yds up to 5 times, and allows one target at a time per caster.
Shadow
- Matches the files
Shadow Focus: Moved to row 1 up from row 2. Instead of reducing the target’s chance to resist, it increases the chance for Shadow spells to hit.
The files Classic Shadow row 2, 70245 row 1, and the tooltip now says chance to hit with Shadow spells. Same effect type underneath, but the cap fell from 10% to 5% (spell 15260).
- Matches the files
Shadow Affinity: Threat reduction to Shadow spells increased slightly.
The files Shadow threat reduction goes from 8/16/25% in Classic to 10/20/30% in 70245 (talent rank values, spell 15318).
- Matches the files
Shadow Reach: Moved to row 2 up from row 4. Now requires only 2 talent points for the same effect.
The files Classic row 4 with 3 ranks (6/13/20%); 70245 row 2 with 2 ranks (10/20%), spell 17322.
- Matches the files
Improved Psychic Scream: Blackout is now a pre-requisite.
The files Talent edge 136300 runs from Blackout to Improved Psychic Scream; Classic had no prerequisite.
- Matches the files
Improved Mind Flay: New row 3 talent. Requires Mind Flay. Increases the damage and range of Mind Flay but reduces its movement speed slowing effect.
The files Shadow row 3, behind Mind Flay (talent edge). The tooltip adds 10/20% damage and 5/10 yd range, and the slow drops from Mind Flay's 50% to 35/20%.
- Partly
Vampiric Embrace: Moved to the row 3 as the 16-point gold medal talent. Now lasts 30 seconds with a 1-minute Cooldown.
The files Duration 30 sec (Classic 1 min) and cooldown 1 min (Classic 10 sec) match (spell 15286). It sits in row 4 with 15 points spent (the 16-point slot), not row 3; Classic had it in row 5.
- Matches the files
Shadow Weaving: Now benefits only the casting Priest and not other party or raid members. Percentage increase to damage decreased moderately.
The files The buff is now yours: the tooltip says it raises the Shadow damage you deal by 2% per stack, up to 5. Classic put a 3% per stack vulnerability on the target (spell 15257).
- Matches the files
Silence: No longer requires Improved Psychic Scream as a pre-requisite.
The files No talent edge leads into Silence in 70245; in Classic it required Improved Psychic Scream.
- Partly
Devouring Contagion: (New row 5 talent.) Reduces the mana cost of Devouring Plague, and when a target dies while afflicted with Devouring Plague, Devouring Plague will jump to a new enemy within 5 yards with the same remaining duration.
The files Shadow row 5, and the tooltip has Devouring Plague costing 25/50% less and spreading on death. The jump range is 5 yds at rank 1 and 10 yds at rank 2, not a flat 5.
- Matches the files
Early Demise: (New row 6 talent.) Increases Shadow Word: Death’s critical strike chance on targets below 20% health.
The files Shadow row 6 (25 points spent). The tooltip adds 15/30% Shadow Word: Death crit on targets at or below 20% health.
- Matches the files
Shadowform: Now allows all non-healing spells to be cast while in Shadowform, reduces the Mana cost of all Shadow spells by 50%, and increases the critical strike damage bonus of Shadow spells by 100%. Bonus to Shadow damage dealt decreased.
The files The tooltip blocks only healing spells (Classic blocked all Holy spells), cuts Shadow spell costs by 50% and adds 100% to the Shadow crit damage bonus. The Shadow damage bonus drops from 15% to 10% (spell 15473 effects).
Base Class Abilities
- No claim to check
Rage:
The files Section label for the rage notes below.
- Not in the files
Rage from taking damage: We kept the original formula for Rage generation from taking damage, but with one big change. Rage gain from damage is calculated by ignoring Armor. So, wearing Armor will no longer reduce the Rage you gain. We are using the old formula as if you always had 50% damage reduction from Armor. Rage gain also ignores all damage absorption effects, so Power Word: Shield will no longer decrease Rage gained.
The files Rage from damage taken is worked out by the server; no client field holds the formula, the 50% armor assumption or the absorb rule.
- Not in the files
Rage from dealing damage: We have fully-normalized this Rage. Rage gained is now based on the speed of the weapon that dealt the damage. In the launch beta, we gave no additional Rage for dealing critical strikes. We are re-adding that. Critical strike will now give 75% more Rage than non-critical strikes.
The files Rage from hits and the crit bonus are computed by the server. Blizzard's Oct 2 warrior update raised the crit bonus from 75% to 100%.
- Matches the files
Tactical Mastery: Learned at level 14. Allows the Warrior to keep 10 Rage when changing Stances. Can be further improved with Arms talents.
The files Baseline passive 1310185, learned at level 14, keeps up to 10 Rage on a stance change. Improved Tactical Mastery (Arms row 2) adds up to 15 more.
- Matches the files
Victory Rush: Learned at level 20. 30-second cooldown instant attack that deals damage (increased by Attack Power) and heals the Warrior for 10% of maximum health. Activated for 20 seconds every time you kill a non-trivial enemy.
The files Learned at level 20 (402927) with a 30 sec cooldown. The tooltip deals 1 + 15% of Attack Power, heals 10% of max health, and works for 20 sec after you kill a non-trivial enemy.
- Not in the files
Recklessness: No longer shares a cooldown with Shield Wall and Retaliation.
The files The shared cooldown was never in client data: even Classic Era gives the three spells separate cooldown categories (2395, 2396, 2397). In 70245 Recklessness has its own 30 min cooldown and no category (spell 1719).
- Partly
Retaliation: No longer shares a cooldown with Recklessness and Shield Wall. Cooldown reduced to 15 minutes.
The files Cooldown is 15 min in 70245, 30 min in Classic (spell 20230), with no category. The shared-cooldown link was server-side in Classic too, so its removal can't be read from the files.
- Partly
Shield Wall: No longer shares a cooldown with Recklessness and Retaliation. Cooldown reduced to 15 minutes.
The files Cooldown is 15 min in 70245, 30 min in Classic (spell 871); it also became 60% for 12 sec, from 75% for 10 sec. The shared-cooldown part is server-side, so the files can't confirm it.
- Not in the files
Rend: Now gains significant damage scaling from Attack Power.
The files No Rend rank carries an attack power coefficient and the tooltip reads like Classic (rank 7: 147 over 21 sec, spell 11574), so any scaling is computed by the server.
- Partly
Thunder Clap: Now gains significant damage scaling from Attack Power. Useable in Defensive Stance. Cooldown increased to 6 seconds. Threat rebalanced (reduced) to account for being usable in Defensive Stance.
The files Stances go from Battle only to Battle and Defensive (shapeshift mask 65536 to 196608) and the cooldown from 4 to 6 sec (spell 11581). The client has no attack power coefficient for it, and threat is server-side.
- Matches the files
Battle Shout: Attack Power bonus reduced to compensate for both factions having both Shaman and Paladin buffs. But benefit of Improved Battle Shout also baked in.
The files Rank 7 gives 139 attack power, down from 232 (spell 25289), and Improved Battle Shout is gone from the Fury tree.
- Not in the files
Sunder Armor: Now usable even if the target has a more powerful Expose Armor effect active. Threat generated now scales with Attack Power.
The files Neither rule is in the client: there's no Expose Armor check, and the new threat effect is a flat 206 at rank 5 (34 at rank 1) with no attack power coefficient (spell 11597).
Arms
- Matches the files
Improved Tactical Mastery: (Formerly Tactical Mastery.) Each point now increases the Rage retained when shifting stances by 3 to a maximum of 25.
The files Classic's 5-rank Tactical Mastery (5 Rage per rank) became Improved Tactical Mastery: +3/6/9/12/15 on top of the baseline 10, so 25 at 5 points (spell 12295).
- Matches the files
Improved Overpower: Moved from row 3 up to row 2.
The files Classic Arms row 3, 70245 row 2 (talent position, spell 12290).
- Matches the files
Anger Management: Tooltip clarified, but no functionality change.
The files The working effect is the same in Classic and 70245 (power regen aura 85, value 15); the new tooltip and three dummy effects only spell out 1 Rage every 3 sec and 30% less Rage loss (spell 12296).
- Partly
Spearing Strike: (New 16-point gold medal talent.) An instant attack for 15 Rage with a 20 second cooldown. Deals a percentage of weapon damage to target and dismounts them. If the target was mounted, a Dragon, or a Giant, damage is doubled.
The files Arms row 4 (15 points spent), 15 Rage and a 20 sec cooldown match (spell 1310222). The tooltip says 40% weapon damage plus 80% more against Giants, Dragonkin and mounted targets (triple, not double), and the spell has no dismount effect.
- Matches the files
Bloodthrill: (New row 5 talent.) Your main hand attacks on enemies afflicted with Rend have a chance to activate Overpower for 6 seconds.
The files Arms row 5. Main-hand hits on targets with your Rend have a 4-20% chance to enable Overpower for 6 sec (tooltip, triggers spell 1282733).
- Matches the files
Weaponmaster: (New row 5 talent.) Combines the benefits of all weapon specialization talents into a single talent. You gain a different bonus based on your equipped weapon. Axes and Polearms grant increased critical strike chance. Maces and Staves ignore some of the target’s armor, and Sword have a chance to gain an extra melee autoattack.
The files Arms row 5. The tooltip gives Axe/Polearm +1-5% crit, Mace/Staff 3-15% armor ignored, and Sword a 1-5% chance for an extra attack (spell 1290261).
- Matches the files
Improved Slam: Moved from Fury to row 6 of Arms and redesigned. Only 2 points. Reduces the cooldown, global cooldown, and cast time of Slam, and Slam no longer delays or interrupts your melee auto attack swing time.
The files Classic Fury row 5 with 5 ranks; 70245 Arms row 6 with 2 ranks. The tooltip cuts GCD and cast time by 0.25/0.5 sec and the cooldown by 1.5/3 sec, with no swing delay (spell 12862); the 70245 hotfix deletes the per-rank values of the cooldown part, so rank 1's number is unclear.
Fury
- Matches the files
Booming Voice: No longer modifies Shout durations. That modification is now baseline.
The files No duration modifier is left in 70245, hotfix included (Classic had one), and the shouts carry it baseline: Battle Shout 2 to 3 min, Demoralizing Shout 30 to 45 sec (spells 12321, 25289, 11556).
- Changed since
Iron Will: Moved from Protection to row 2 of Arms. Now reduces duration of Stuns instead of increasing resistance to them.
The files In 70170 it sat in Fury row 2 (the line says Arms) and cut Stun duration by 3-15% (tooltip). Blizzard's Oct 2 update moved it to Protection row 1, which the 70245 hotfix shows (new node 113570).
- Changed since
Unbridled Rage: Chance increased. Now grants 2 Rage if the weapon equipped is a two-handed weapon.
The files The talent is Unbridled Wrath (12322); no 'Unbridled Rage' exists. Its chance did rise (Classic 8-40%, now 12-60%), but the Oct 2 update removed the 2 Rage two-hander bonus (tooltip hotfix in 70245).
- Changed since
Improved Cleave: Now reduces the Rage cost of Cleave instead of increasing its bonus damage.
The files Before the Oct 2 update it cut Cleave's cost by 1/2/3 Rage (70170; Classic gave +40/80/120% bonus damage). That update removed the talent, and the 70245 hotfix deletes its node (105936).
- Changed since
Blood Craze: Now also triggered by attacks that deal more than 20% of your maximum health in a single hit and by striking a target with Bloodthirst.
The files The trigger on hits over 20% of max health is in the tooltip (effect value 20), but the Oct 2 update removed the Bloodthirst trigger: the 70245 hotfix drops it from the tooltip and the proc flags (spell 16487).
- Changed since
Boundless Rage: New row 3 talent. Increases your maximum Rage.
The files Boundless Rage was Fury row 3 in 70170, +10/20/30 max Rage (spell 1310236). The Oct 2 update removed it; the 70245 hotfix deletes the spell and gives its slot to Furious Precision.
- Changed since
Dual Wield Specialization: Now also increases chance to hit with off-hand weapons.
The files In 70170 it added 2-10% off-hand hit (aura 54). The Oct 2 update removed that: in the 70245 hotfix the effect is a dummy and the tooltip offers off-hand Rage instead (spell 23584).
