BoF Guide 0.9.81: start the WoW Forever leveling guide partway through a zone, and it finishes your quests there first
BoF Guide 0.9.81, the free WoW Forever in-game leveling guide: install it partway through a zone and it follows the quests in your log, finishing that zone before it sends you on. Every start, every zone change to 30.

Version 0.9.81 of the BoF Guide, Bind on Forever’s free WoW Forever in-game leveling guide, is out on CurseForge and Wago, and as a direct download below. It’s one fix, for anyone who installs the guide partway through a zone.
No restart needed. A reload picks it up.
Unzip it into the Interface\AddOns folder of your WoW Forever game (on the beta:World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns), so the guide sits at AddOns\BoFGuide. Restart the game, then type /bofg. When a new version comes out, download it again and replace the folder; your settings stay. More on installing addons.
Start the leveling guide partway through a zone
The guide always joined you wherever you were: it reads your completed quests, your quest log, your level and your flight paths. What it got wrong was the route. It chose by level alone, so a Night Elf a little past 12 with Teldrassil quests still to finish was sent on to Darkshore.
Now it picks the route that still has the quests in your log. That Night Elf finishes Teldrassil first, then moves on. It works the same for every starting zone and every zone change on the way to 30.

Click the seal at the top left of the guide, choose Leveling routes, and pick the route your quests are in. The guide picks up from there.

The BoF Guide is free from level 1 to 30 for every race and class, in six languages. Update it in the CurseForge or Wago app, or use the ZIP above (how to install addons in WoW Forever). The last release, 0.9.80, was a polish pass over every window. How the guide compares with the other leveling addons is on the best WoW Forever leveling addons.
Questions
Can I start the BoF Guide at any level in WoW Forever?
Yes. The BoF Guide reads your character's state (completed quests, quest log, level, flight paths) and joins you wherever you are. Since version 0.9.81 it also picks the route that still has the quests in your log.
The BoF Guide sent me to the next zone too early. How do I go back?
Click the seal at the top left of the guide, choose Leveling routes, and pick the route your quests are in. Version 0.9.81 does this for you when you start the guide partway through a zone.
Do I need to restart WoW after updating the BoF Guide to 0.9.81?
No. Version 0.9.81 adds no new files, so a /reload or your next login picks it up.
