WoW Forever Mage leveling guide

Mages level from 1 to 60 in WoW Forever as Human, Orc, Undead, Gnome, Troll and High Order Skyborne (Orc new to the class in Forever). On the way a Mage learns 50 abilities and 113 new ranks from the trainer, and Forever changes 3 of them, adding Frost Blast at 24, Frostfire Bolt at 40 and Teleport: Dalaran at 50. What does a Mage learn while leveling in WoW Forever?
50 abilities and 113 new ranks from the trainer between 1 and 60. Between 1 and 10 a Mage learns Arcane Intellect, Fireball, Frost Armor and Conjure Water; between 11 and 20 it learns Dampen Magic, Slow Fall, Arcane Explosion and Flamestrike; between 21 and 30 it learns Frost Ward, Scorch, Counterspell and Frost Blast. The rest come from 31 to 60, listed above.
What changed for Mage leveling in WoW Forever?
Forever adds Frost Blast (24), Frostfire Bolt (40) and Teleport: Dalaran (50). 11 talents are new.
What is the best leveling spec for a Mage in WoW Forever?
There's no settled answer yet, because the beta stops at 30. Two filler points open the next row, and the rest goes into Arcane Meditation (Nemus13). AoE leveling is weaker, with the Improved Blizzard and Permafrost slows cut and less XP from dungeon mobs; Arcane Explosion is still strong early (Mobalytics).
