BoF Guide 0.9.73: the free WoW Forever in-game leveling guide now levels your professions to 225

Version 0.9.73 of the BoF Guide, Bind on Forever’s free WoW Forever in-game leveling guide, is out. It’s on Wago now, and on CurseForge as soon as its review clears. This release turns the guide into a profession leveling guide as well: every crafting profession is free from 1 to 225.

Free profession leveling guides from 1 to 225

All eight crafting professions are in the free addon from 1 to 225: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Cooking and First Aid.

225 is as far as a level-30 character can train: Expert asks for level 20 and Artisan for 35 in the beta footage we’ve checked. Each profession guide plans the cheapest path with Forever’s own recipe changes. It says what to buy, what to make yourself and when to see your trainer. Open them from the menu on the seal at the top left of the guide window. The faction packs take every craft on from 225 to 300.

Gathering stays free all the way: Mining, Herbalism, Skinning and Fishing from 1 to 300, with a farming loop for your level in each zone. Which professions to pick for leveling is on WoW Forever professions for leveling.

The Legacy challenges guide, up to date

Forever’s Legacy system rewards account-wide challenges, and the BoF Guide’s Legacy guide takes you through the ones on the way to 30. In 0.9.73 it names the boss that gives each dungeon’s credit and the level each dungeon opens at (Excavation Site: Wetlands opens at 26). It lists the Expert crafts you can reach before 30 and runs the dungeons in the order you reach them.

What happens at level 30

The free leveling guide ends the moment you reach level 30. In place of the next step, it shows what the road gave you: quests done, dungeons cleared, dangerous pulls flagged in advance and your time with the guide. Then it shows where the road goes next, with a link to the full guide from 30 to 60.

Adding a purchased guide, with no commands

The new “Add your purchased guide” window takes you through it in three steps and lists the guides you’ve added, each with a Remove button. It opens from the game’s Settings (under Bind on Forever Guide), from the seal’s menu, or from the level-30 summary.

Your game’s language

The BoF Guide speaks English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Korean. In 0.9.73 every name it shows follows your WoW client’s language, even when the guide itself is set to another one, so the names on a card match the ones in your game. About a thousand tips switched from English creature names to your client’s own, and kill objectives read correctly on French, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese clients.
